Spring Vitality from the Digestive Team

Outside at the moment we can see Mother Nature unleashing energy and vitality as the plants burst forth with their vibrant spring flowers and leaves.  For those not feeling full of the joys of spring it might be time to invest in digestive health.

A healthy digestive system will allow access to the nutrients from food to fuel energy and support our body to operate in a healthy manner- ultimately giving us that sense of wellbeing and vitality.  You might be experiencing bloating, excess intestinal wind, changes to bowel motions, low energy after eating or feeling over acidic.  These are all signs our digestive system is not working at its best and could do with a helping hand to restore digestive balance.

Let me introduce you to the Digestive support team:

Lifestream Advanced Probiotics is a unique blend of 14 strains of premium beneficial bacteria to populate the digestive tract for optimum digestion, immunity and skin health.  It is especially important to top up your good bacteria if you have had a course of antibiotics, a tummy bug, eating a diet high in processed foods, or experiencing stressful times.

Lifestream Aloe Vera helps to calm and soothe bloating, supports the growth of beneficial bacteria for digestion and immunity, and is a liver tonic to support detox and processing of fats in the liver.  Lifestream’s Aloe Vera juice and capsules contain powerful organically grown plant nutrients which support the health of the gut lining.

Lifestream Advanced Digestive Enzymes is a vegetarian blend of enzymes to support digestion of protein, carbohydrates, fats, dairy, and raw food.  Undigested food can cause bloating and wind, and lead to low energy from reduced nutrient intake.  The Advanced Digestive Enzymes can be used by people avoiding certain foods to support healthy digestion.

Lifestream Bowel Biotics Fibre is a combination of all natural Psyllium fibre, prebiotic inulin and premium probiotics.  It is a gentle way to sweep old matter from the bowels and maintain healthy bowels.  The fibre supports balanced blood sugar and healthy cholesterol levels.  The prebiotics and probiotics support a healthy balance of good bacteria in our gut.  Inulin also supports healthy fat levels around our internal organs.

Ask the team instore which of these products are the right combination for you to support a healthy digestive system for Spring Vitality.

Hi there, I have been diagnosed with diviticulitis, which of course antibotics have been given, just made me feel terrible. I have alot of pain, and eating just makes me feel quite sick….Do you think the Aloe vera may help, I have tried it before, only the juice though, so wondering if the capsules might be better.
If I cant get the capsules in Perth, I am coming over to Auckland in a few weeks, and pick some up then.

    Thank you.

      Hi Annette
Aloe Vera is calming and soothing to the entire digestive tract so you might find benefit from taking it on a regular basis. I suggest you use the juice at home and take the capsules when you travel. There are online suppliers that could send you our products if you have trouble finding them locally. Our website has a list of them for your reference plus there are a couple of Australian sites listed. Regards Karin, Lifestream Naturoapth.
